AGM to be held on Tuesday, June 11 will be at 6 PM.
The Quesnel Festival of the Performing Arts is a non-profit society depending 100% on the generous contributions of time and energy from its many dedicated volunteers. We always need some fresh faces around the QFPA table.
“Many hands make light work” is something of a cliché, but a very applicable one. Would you like to join us to enable QFPA to continue to provide this unique opportunity for the performing arts youth of Quesnel?
QFPA holds monthly planning meetings from September until May, with a summer break. Executive elections occur at the AGM in June. Experienced and retiring members are able and willing to provide mentorship to new executive members, and positions may be shared on a “team” basis – so come on out, and bring a friend!
For more info on meeting dates and what is involved in taking part in the QFPA executive, call the 2018-19 QFPA President Barb Scharf at 250-297-6553.
Many thanks to QFPA’s 2017-18 directors!
Many thanks to all of the performers, families, teachers and community supporters who came out to the Gala! What a wonderful array of talent there is amongst you all!
Thanks as well to Quesnel Mayor Bob Simpson, who acted as Master of Ceremonies, and the Quesnel Rotary Club, represented by Rotary President Petrie Neave and Vice-President Bev Haluschak, who were on hand to present the 2019 Rotary Club bursaries to six well-deserving students.
